The Plus model, however, has the longest battery life of any iPhone, according to Apple. Battery life numbers are the same on Pro models and the regular 14 gets a very slight battery life increase.

Battery life numbers are the same on the Pro models compared to their last year counterparts. Analysts predicted iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max prices would go up, but they did not.

Base models will still start at 128GB, but the Pros will have 256GB of storage. This is likely because most people think 128GB is the sweet spot for their device.

Satellite connectivity

Satellite connectivity that gives your iPhone signal even in the most remote locations? That sounds like a dream come true, and while it sounded exciting, we had our doubts it would actually happen. Apple's partner in this endeavor, satellite operator GlobalStar, had acquired 17 new satellites in early 2022.

Charging speed

Apple will continue to stick with slower charging speeds for the iPhone 13 series. Other companies like Xiaomi and Oppo have shown super fast charging that is safe for the battery. In 2023, Apple is rumored to switch to a USB-C connector on its iPhone 15 series.

5G CONNECTIVETY

This is the same radio chip used in many other Android phones like the Galaxy S22 series and it comes with a promise for better signal reception. It does NOT support Wi-Fi 6E, but it does come with newer Bluetooth 5.3 connections.

Cinematic Mode now works in 4K resolution and 24 frames per second. Apple did not mention 8K video at its event for the iPhone 14. look for:
